Youth Fellowship
Judson Baptist Church Youth Fellowship [JBCYF] was formed in year 1998 by a group of young adults. Since then JBCYF has continuously and gracefully grown into a God-serving Youth Fellowship as of today.
2017-2018 Theme
Biennially, JBCYF focuses on a particular theme based on the scripture. The theme for year 2017-2018 is taken from Hebrew 12:1-2 which states, “Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.”
Activities and Programmes
JBCYF organises many engaging activities all year round to reach out to the youth and serve as an avenue for youth to worship and fellowship together as bodies of Christ.
Many exciting activities such as Youth Outings, Youth Camp, Leadership Retreat, JBCYF Sports Day, Count Your Blessings Day, Youth Work Camp and Mission Night are waiting for you at JBCYF.
Currently, JBCYF is grouped into 3 different groups namely Passion, Patience and Perseverance. Youth in JBCYF encompasses a wide range of age groups, starting from 13 years up to 43 years old.

Youth Outings
Instead of having normal Youth Service at church, JBCYF organises Youth outings once-every-4-month at various attractions around Singapore. Through outings, youth are encouraged to bring their friends from other faiths to share with them about the love of Jesus. Meanwhile, youth are also given the opportunities to get to know each other at deeper level, forging lasting friendships through fun-filled outing activities.
Youth Camps
This exciting annual event usually comes in a form of 3-day-2-night camp to serve as a bridging platform for the older youth to get to know the younger youth within the church level. This is also a time for the youth to come forth, resubmit and rededicate their lives as living sacrifices, for the glory of God. With many well-planned activities such as lectures from pastors, in depth discussions, sumptuous meals and exciting games there is no shortage of spiritual, physical and psychological reassurance throughout the entire camp.
Leadership Retreat
This once-a-year event is meant for youth who are serving and holding leadership positions in JBCYF. It is a time for them to relax, reflect and recharge. During the retreat, they engage in various activities such as team building and team bonding sessions, sharing sessions, discussion time and most importantly having a personal time with God.
Sports Day
Every year, participants from the 3 different groups namely, Passion, Patience and Perseverance would actively compete against one another on this action-packed sports day. This is the time when youth come to realise each other’s physical strengths and weaknesses, displaying their Christ-like characters and upholding sportsmanship in each and every game.
Count Your Blessings Day
Count Your Blessings Day is an annual event, originally organised within JBCYF but subsequently implemented across the entire church level. Count Your Blessings Day is held on the first Sunday of the month of April. On that day, members of Judson Baptist Church Singapore [JBCS] would gather to give thanks for all their blessings by offering 1/10 of their monthly salary to God. This 1/10 is an addition to the monthly tithes that they are obliged to fulfill and the amount collected is used for JBCS’ local and overseas missions.
Since the inauguration of Count Your Blessings Day, JBCS has never failed to witness the proclamation of God’s faithfulness till today.
Youth Work Camp
Youth Work Camp is a time when more than 50 over youth from JBCYF would pack their bags for overseas work camp in Myanmar. During their one week stay, they will be exposed to the lifestyle of villagers in Myanmar, given the experience to share the gospel to the children and even adults in nearby villages, assigned with duties to wash and clean their own dormitories, given the opportunities to perform and be part of Christmas events to share the joy of Christmas with people in Myanmar. Many whom came back from the camp have learnt and experienced many invaluable lessons that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
Mission Night
This annual gospel event is specially organised for our fellow countrymen and women from Myanmar. Prior to the event, youth from JBCYF would travel to Peninsula Plaza to distribute flyers and invite fellow countrymen and women from there. On the actual day, talented dancers and performers within JBCYF would perform Myanmar traditional dances, Myanma A Nyeint for the invited guests and the night would end off with a powerful gospel message for them to take home.
